Raya is around the corner and I don't have enuf time

Dunno why am I so lazy to blog this couple of days. Really so tired mentally, physically and financially hehhehehehehehehe... The Eid is approaching and I just feel that there's so much to do and so little time left.

I was like a roach on the weekend. Saturday I woke up at 9.30am. It was deliberate becoz I dun have enuf rest on a weekday. Son was still asleep. He always wakes up late whenever he saw me on his side. So I quickly showered and sneeked out of the house. Need to get some stuffs for break fast and for the cookies. Came home at abt 12.10pm. So very tired. I didnt give myself a break, I straightaway heat up the oven and prepare to do the choc chip cookies. At the same time, the helper and me were preparing roti john and roti jala for berbuka puasa. After 8.30pm, we head our way to SOGO and TAR. Gosh I regret asking my hubby to park at the Pertama Complex parking lots. The place is so narrow and we scrached ayah's SERENA. Dammit! Although it was that tad bit but it is obvious. So I just had a dull shopping eventually coz I was worried abt the scratch. Nyah called but I couldnt talk to her. Kesian dia. My son was so hyper and nak suruh try kasut and baju pun susah. Dah lah my mood is gone. We reached home at 12.30am. Lucky Aqim slept in the car else if he was still running around, I think I will fall flat.

Sunday morning, hubby and me went to the wet market at Pasar Borong Selayang. We got all the stuffs mak and nyah pesan. Penat lah but I felt happy. I am always feeling contented if I managed to get the stuffs peoeple had wanted me to buy. We reached home at 12.45pm coz we were scouting for the car workshop. That small scratch cost RM300!!!!! Gosh! Wat a waste but we just had to do it coz I dont want ayah to think we are not trusted with his car. Reached home feeling tired but again I told myself I have work to do. We plan to buka Laksa Penang at my MIL's house. So while preparing for that, I was busy with the 4kg of tiger prawns, ikan patin and tenggiri for me to bring home to SG. After dealing with that, I proceed with honey cornflakes and choc hazelnut. All multitasking. My back ache like hell and got Aqim to give me the best body tapping from him. Such a help he was. Exactly at 6pm, we went to MIL's place which is just a stone throw. Only God knows how tired helper and me were. There I met hubby's cousin sister, Kak Dot and Kak Tak. Both just got back from Plaza Sentral Shah Alam to cheer on Azzura for the OLAY contest. Azzura won for the journalist category and landed herself a 3yr contract with TV3 and RM17k worth of products. Kudos Zura! Dia dapat lailatulqadr.

My aunt, Cik Asmah came to my place at 9pm. Short stay. She had family dinner at Rawang and stop over my place for a while to see how am I doing. Baik sungguh auntie ni. Yelah dia kira pengganti my mom lah since mak is in SG.

At 10.30pm sharp, Aqim and me went to sleep. It has been such long day for us. Tmrw is a PH and I have more things to do. Firstly to go to Syarikat Menag to buy some stuffs that my sister ordered. Then head again to my MIL's house to help her cook and petik buah mangga(her pokok mangga sedang berbuah giler punya) and then breakfast at her place. Then later, I will go back home, pack and make our way to SG. I just wish there's more than 24hours in a day when festivities are ard the corner hehehehehehe......

Well, I will be on long leave and thus will not blog for a bit.

My family and I would like to wish one and all a Blessed Eid Fitr and may the celebration be the most memorable one for the year. Maaf zahir dan batin and have a safe journey. ....message from Mansor, Nurul and Mustaqim

Weekend was something I looked forward too. I was eager to see Nya. You know when you are homesick and then you get to meet someone from the same country, you feel so excited. That was how I felt. Although it was a short meet up, it makes me sane :) and calm(like the pix attached) hehehehehe

Initially we had wanted to have a gebang session with the MCKKians. However, with the short trip I don't think it will be a good idea. Noris arrived at my place around 3pm and she looked tired. Then, plan B was for us to just have dinner with Dee. Just the 3 of us to catch up on things. But a Friday call from my dad changed the whole plan. Dad's vehicle has to 'evacuate' from Spore. His car is a Malaysian registered car and since he has retired(6th Oct 2005), his car's registration is no more under the care of of the Embassy. So if it stays longer, dad has to fork out SGD$20 per weekday as a vehicle levy. To make sense, dad asked Dee to take the car out and we are in charge to take care of the car. I shall not bitch abt his company neither do i want to talk abt the government's policy. What I can say is, it's just fated and we can't fret abt it. To his ex boss, all I can say is, Thank you for your 'help' and your 'kind manners'. Period! Alamak dah side track pulak.

Neway, back to the dinner. So there were just the two of us at KLCC looking for stuffs. I had booked Madam Kwan earlier on but the table was a tad big. Since we were there very early, we managed to get 2 of our friends who were, coincidently, on the way to town. So we arranged for a meet up. At least it won't be that boring lah kan. ALK came first. I told Noreez not to look at him coz since it has been a while, I want to see if he could recognise us. But whola! He could! Then came NSE and her cuzin. We had a great time chit chatting over dinner. I guess we were either too loud or too excited as I could see a few patronage sitting near our table, were looking at us. ALK has always been a nutcase so the atmosphere were somewhat crazy. I was so engrossed with the conversation and didn't get the hint when Nya' kicked me. I tot she accidentally did that but actually she was trying to tell me Hans just passed by us. How blur! ALK was saying that the Char Kuey Teow made me all blurry....hahahahahaha. Afterwards we proceed to Starbucks and continued our chit chatting. We chatted like as if there was no tomorrow. I made a few calls home and my little munchkin was already asleep. At least I don't feel that bad leaving him behind. Hubby on the other hand, was enjoying his ride on the Aeroline. Hmm everything seemed so smooth. We bid our farewells at a quarter to 12midnight. This was really a record for me as I have not been out this late with friends eversince Dee said "Saya terima nikahnya" 3 yrs ago. It's really awesome and I am longing to do it again. (NSE suggested we go for Karaoke one fine day after Ramadhan).

Some good news for the week. I received a call from my housing agent and our apmt is Spore will be sold to one malay couple. We have been trying to sell the house for quite sometime coz Dad has to eventually leave Spore and go back to Malaysia. So next yr onwards, we will all 'berkhemah' at Helmi's apartment in Punggol 21. Anyways, the price is not very lucrative in oppose to the valuation by HDB but it is enough for my parents to live their remaining life with that money. I guess after all their hardwork, it's time for them to relax and rest, enjoying their life together and with almost half a dozen of grandchildren to make their day. Dad has been asking me to look for a space for him to do a small scale business. Hmm...so I have to do the running again.

Another news for the week was when I got a message from my brother that reads:"Kak Ci(my nickname), good news. Your anak sedara, Syafiq a.k.a. the monyet is now the 9th Best Speed Climber in the World. He just competed in the World Cup Series in China". This boy makes us really proud. He was once a defiant boy and was so much influenced by his friends. I guess he came to realise his passion in sports and since than made his school proud of him. I believe he can go far and hopefully will be selected again by S'pore Sports Council for Xtreme Sports Competition. Tak sesia kecik2 suka main panjat2 and he has always been a fearless kiddo. Kudos dear Syafiq Utama.

Today is the 20th of Ramadhan. That means we are left with 10 days before Syawal appears. The feeling of sadness envelopes me little by little. I do not know why this feelings are just here and refuse to budge since day 1 of Ramadhan. Whatever it is, I thank God for 'awarding' the family and me perfect health for us to perform this rukun Islam smoothly. Oh, btw, just for reminder, jangan lupa bayar zakat, ok.

Sad News

I wanted to write something nice and happy this morning. I have not blogged for a couple of days and I thought I will update today. However, a breaking news today saddens me. PM's wife, Datin Seri Endon Mahmod, died this morning at 0755h. She is 64. Although she is not related to me in any ways(except for saudara seugama), it somehow affected me. I have been following her progress and was very glad when PM said that his wife is getting better day after day. She is that strong woman that was able to shield her sickness from the public. A person who is the pillar of her husband's success. I feel for PM Ahmad Badawi. He has lost 2 important women in his life. First it was his mother then now his beloved wife. And to state the fact that the Eid is just round the corner(2 weeks to be exact). While writting this, I feel like as though there's a lump in my throat. I believe Allah loves her more as she died peacefully surrounded by beloved husband and family.

Semoga Allah mencucuri rahmat ke atas rohnya dan di tempatkan bersama2 dgn orang-orang yang soleh. Alfatehah.

Malaysian PM's wife dies: news agency

KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) - Endon Mahmood, the hugely popular wife of Malaysia's prime minister, died on Thursday, following a lengthy battle with breast cancer, national news agency Bernama said.

It quoted Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi as saying his wife had died at 7:55 a.m. at his official residence. She was 64.

Endon, as she was affectionately known by most Malaysians, was a huge source of inspiration for Abdullah, and many political analysts say she encouraged him to pursue the leadership.

Abdullah, 65, took power late in 2003, as the chosen successor of veteran leader Mahathir Mohamad.

The soft-spoken Endon was diagnosed with breast cancer soon after her twin sister Noraini found out she had the disease in 2002.

Since then, she had made regular trips to the United States for treatment. Endon recently returned home from weeks of treatment in Los Angeles, but immediately went into hospital to guard against secondary infections, on doctor's advice.
