Close your gag if you have nothing to say

I am agitated today. Perhaps I was tired or have missed my menses for a month and that could play a part on how I am feeling today. But(I am not trying to be defensive) if you are in the situation I am in right now, I am sure you will feel the same too. Firstly, I do not know when on earth I was given a task to decorate the Indo team's workplace. It is supposed to be a teams' effort but I realise that one team here means....Me, Myself and I. So since I have very little time and very little energy left, I did a small Indo Spa next to me. AND I AM NOT GOING TO DO ANYMORE BECAUSE THE INDONS THEMSELVES AREN'T PUTTING EFFORT!!!!!!

And guess what....I am further agitated when someone I thought I could count on starts asking me question like as if I am a criminal. She asked me about why am I taking AL so frequently. She said recenly I just took a long long leave. I said it was not AL, it was Off In Lieu and then hospitalisation leave. And I am taking leave this time not for fun and laughter. I HAVE MOVED TO A NEW PLACE AND I NEED TO UNPACK!!!!!!!!! You see homo sapiens like all of us failed to look into the mirror and scrutinized themselves if they have done the best for their well being. Always so nosey and pick on others but they are no better. It's just in us eh? What about you, dear friend, many a times I have seen you take urgent leaves and your reason was, your child was sick! Ok fine...your child is always falling sick.....but you also have plans to go to NYC for two damn weeks! I am not jealous....I know I cant afford that trip and never dreamt of it.....but at least I realise what/where/when is my priorities. Your question, perhaps, was a simple and no-intention-to-hurt-me. BUT it was really hurting with your cynical intonation, that very simple question was, to me, really sarcastic. Anyway...my word of advice to all and that includes myself...if you really have nothing to say and if u are unsure...if you don't want to ask...then shut up! Coz silence is golden! And oh.....please look at yourself meticulously before judging others. You may already have lost weight, but that does not guarrantee that you are already beautiful. It seems to me that I am better off being alone and aloof. It's better that people don't know me much....I think being mysterious posed to be better than being loud. You may just offend people intentionally or unintentionally and the consequences will be really painful....OUCH!

BTW nyah, thanks for listening. At least I felt really better talking to you. We have been friends for the longest time and we know where are our bondaries eh. I really appreciate it lah nyah. People who just knew me yesterday, thinks she knows me a lifetime! Sick eh....haiya......

FW: We have moved (a.k.a. going to shift in 2 days time)

I am shifting this Sunday to unit 11-1. Alhamdulillah. God does all this for a reason. The rent is RM$50 cheaper and it is partly furnish with a new coat of paint. The owner so far is better than the ones we have now lah. I hope they will remain like this throughout my stay there la. They gave us the key yesterday even when we have not given them our payment yet. Enc Ramli said we can bank in by early June. The wife, Cikgu Asmida said she trusted us with the house and make the house like it belonged to us. Ya Allah.......thank you for helping my family. So tonite, we will wash the house before we do our solat sunnah there and move our things. I hope with the shifting, it will be a new beginning for us all over again.

Yesterday i impersonated as Kak Anim's attorney and my colleagues said I am good at it hahahahahaha. Kesian kak Anim. I had a bad feeling when i was in Spore. Coz the fella who is supposed to handle the bank draft kept on delaying the transfer of money. She did the negotiations with NIE for the gamelan instruments. She contacted her professor for a quotation. Her professor then passed the job to his brother in law, the person they entrust for many many years. So now after 3 months, Kak Anim didn't get a cent out of her SGD$6000. I called the professor yesterday and demanded the money. He said that his bil(brother in law )  had also ran with his SGD$10k. I told the professor that it was him who gave the trust to the bil and he has to take responsibility. At the same time, i told kak Anim to engage a lawyer and speak to uncle Sam(Aunt Devi's hubby). He helped out with Helmi's case before this and I am sure he could lend a hand for this too.

I hope kak Anim could get at least half of the amount because it is her hard earned money. Now i told her to learn this hard lesson. Tomorrow she is leaving for Batam to lodge a police report.......

What a luck !!!!

Ya Allah.....you hear and you see and you know what will happen next. Please help my sister as she is in deep pain right now and she is unwell. Please help her and get justice done to the dishonest  person who is also you ummah.....Amin Amin Ya Rabbal Alamin ......

WHO WILL WIN?????

'Twas my brithday

I am 33??? Wow that's a superb number, don't u think so? My mom said...it's just a number. But got to bersyukur coz I given the opportunity to live to this age. Yes, she is right. SYUKUR ALHAMDULILLAH.....

My aunt remembered it was my birthday. Mak, ayah, abg, along, kak anim were all at home. So we had a small gathering. Uncle bought sate ayam, daging. perut.....fuyooooo sedapnya!!!!!!!!! Thank God my tonsilectomy is fully healed so I can enjoy my Sate Kajang. Food was ample and in 2 hours...licin betul. Macam hungry ghost. On 22nd May itself(Sunday) mak made he special mee rebus! Makan lagi....lost 5kilos after the op, gained 7 kilos after birthday hahahahahaha...... Kelakar lah.

Now my place is so quiet. All went back to Malacca and Singapore. Mustaqim it seems felt lost. One moment, my house was full of laughter, another moment...he was sitting at one corner..playing alone. I know he is lonely. And our neighbor's son will not by his sight anymore coz we got to shift to 11th floor. The rascal owner was unhappy because we didnt pay our April's rent. We purposely did that becoz he didn't pay the maintainence fee and we got several warnings to cut our water supply. Many times we had to keep a few pails of water in case the threat from mgmt came true. And many times mgmt had to send flyers to our place to cut the water supply. Our neighbors saw and we felt ashame. So I want this to end. The owner has our deposit so why must he be worried....I have decided to shift to our new place this wkend. So be it.

One good news for my bday though, Helmi got a new job. Quite far lah but the offer is too good to give it a miss. Salary pun not bad. We got 3 potential buyers for our Hougang apartment. Hopefully, one of them will decide to buy and it will finally end family's financial woes. Another thing is I was told that I will be transferred to Malaysian team once my a replacement is confirmed. So I will patiently wait..........

That's all for now......I am listless at the moment coz the packing for shifting has begun.....sigh!!!

Today is the day...........

Today Noris went for tonsilectomy. I purposely didnt want to write it earlier in case she reads it and freaked her out. While I am writting this, I hope she is feeling ok and remain strong.

I had tonsilectomy on 22 April 2005. It was very very painful. My sister in law asked how painful was the pain and I said its like having cesearean. My sil went.."ouch". Probably I was exaggerating but at that point of time, the pain I had to bear was undescribable. Even to swallow my saliva was hassle. But my surgeon said I had to force myself because the muscle has to get back in place so I must try. I remembered when I was wheeled to the OT(Operation Theatre), I had flashbacks. How I wish at that time I was wheeled to the OT to give birth rather than to do a tonsilectomy. Being wheeled when I gave birth to my son is the best memory ever. It was painful but worth the pain. However this time when I was transferred to the OT, I was thinking of my son and how was he doing. Will he cry coz I am not around, was he eating well(altho he was in good hands), all sorts of things on my head.

Nurses after nurses came by and asked me my name, age, IC number, year I was born and what I was in for. I remembered it was like a broken record when every nurse that greeted me asked me the same question. Well, I am sure they don't want to make any mistake. Finally the surgeon came, Dr. Chan. He is a big guy. Very nice doctor. Telling me that it is alright and told me to make ice lollies and suck it at all times. Then from one bed i was "rolled" to another bed. Note the word rolled and not carried. Hehehehehe. After I was rolled over...Dr. Chan joked...."..the most difficult task of the operation is done....to roll u over." Heheheheheheeh...I know he knew I was nervous. Than I was maksed and was told to take a deep breath several times. I felt like flying but I knew in no time, I will fall into a deep sleep. After that.......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

The next thing I knew is a nurse slapped me and said.." Nurul wake up, wake up. The operation is over..." Then with a heavy head I woke up and I saw it was 1145h. So it was like almost and hour and a half. Wow...I thought only 40mins. Then I realise why it was taking longer. Because the size of my tonsils were enlarged and the tonsils on my right are full of fungus. Hmm...i wonder why some doctors insist I do not need an operation despite the frequent fevers and all????Strange lah

Anyways, the cost of operation is hefty. At the moment there i regretted having operation but nonetheless, I am sure after this the bouts of fever I had will not be as bad. And after that operation, my darling son gave up on breastfeeding :) Probably the smell of medicine on my body turn him off hehehehehehehehe

I had to take soft diet for 2 weeks and my mood was bad on the 2nd week. My husband had to go back to Malaysia and my son was cranky because he missed the father. I had very little sleep and could not rest well. Well nyah, if u are reading this, I am sure yur road to recovery will be sooner than mine coz u can rest well at nite. Do take plenty of cold plain water and waking up in the morning will be terrible. Coz whole nite ur mouth has no movements and yur throat will be very dry. So hang in on there ok.

Ok adios.....

My 2nd fave duo

Bravo! Well-deserved duo

I congratulate this duo for a job well done. And Joyce, if you happen to read this.......you are lucky because you have a great husband, superb partner and he is really a motivator. I am so glad this couple won. I am also proud of Meredith and Gretchen for making it on the 4th spot. These people really boast up my morale.
