Sanitary against Sanity

"Nurul……can you do a sanitary check against the list I gave you. All solved?"
Huh? Why the need? Do you smell something foul coming from my side?(of coz I said this to myself)
Should I laugh or act blur? Sanitary check? Do I do it now in front of audience or should I excuse myself and do it in the restroom

"You want me to do a sanitary check?" I asked.
"Yep. Think you got a long list there. Just see if all are ok" My supervisor instructed
"Okay. Gimme a moment. I will do my sanitary check later. Will revert if there's a shortfall."
I heard giggles but I tried to control. It must be my other colleague who knew what's in my mind. Looked at her…all flushed. Guess she tried so hard not to laugh out loud.

No. I am not trying to put down a person. I remembered when I heard the word 'dumbfounded' and tried to impress someone that I've learnt a 'big' word and pronounced it as 'dumb-folded". Did I hear a big laughter from my classmates. God! Well, lesson learnt : if you find something new and you want to create that impression, go check the dictionary for the correct meaning and pronounciation.

Did I tell my supervisor she has mispronounced the word? Nope I did not. Don't intend to make fun of it but at the same time dunno how to tell her what she said has a different meaning.

Thank you Noreez

I just dunno how to thank Noreez who put aside her precious time to update my blog and beautify it. I loved the pix that she did. Cantik! Thanks ah nyah. Payment will be discussed.

Yes I have been super busy. When the mega campaign started, I had to stay in the officem till 1am almost everyday. Its really squeezing my brains, my emotions, my health but not my size lah. Haiz! The more pressure the team got, the more we eat sinful food. I almost gave up. I almost tendered. Customers are getting up to my nerve! Yes there were glitches. Hello! Even newspapers did some printing errors ok and they said sorry the next day. End of story. But some customers just want free this free that as compensation on that mistake which we had said sorry on national TV and the papers. Wait a second.... HEY DIDN'T YOU GET A FREE PC ANYWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S FREE FREE FREE. HEARD THAT!!!!!

Huh...sorry folks, I am so sorry. I just need to let out the anger. Some people, my people just like to ruin some other peoples' day. It's fun perhaps. I dunno since when, my people, have become saddist. It's really sad when the govt put in so much effort and monies to make us all a better and courteous citizen. In fact some who called in asked about race, which country the call center sales personel are from and all. So what's the diff if we are from another country? I've got this customer who asked me: "Answer me, are you from *******ia?". My answer was, "Well I am not but how can that impact your order sir?" He said,"Of coz it does. We in *******ore are vast and efficient people and hence I then now know how come the service is slow". Oh my God! I am so ashamed that the person from my nation is saying that???? Why? Why? Still why why why why why why?????? We are not taught by our parents and our teachers to be rude in that manner! I am so ashamed.

In our daily briefing, my people, was the talk of the topic. So many issues. So many frustrations. When my colleagues who know where i come from looked at me, all i did was just smile and looked elsewhere. I just couldn't look at them and tell them why all these are happening. I felt sorry. They did their best but it seems it was just not good enuf. Well...anyways, the period is almost over. The staffs who helped out has left and pursue elsewhere. As for me, I am still here, still in daze and still keep myself level-headed. The shoutings have reduced but the sore remains. It is ok if my people shouted for the right reasons but it is all for the wrong ones. May God bless them and help them to open up their minds. Meanwhile, I am counting days so that i can start planning for my break as soon as this ordeal finishes. Time for me to be with my two lovely kids and my hubby. They have been waiting patiently for my attention.

At the same time, I am also now enjoying myself coz i've just started my small scale nasi lemak business and some traditional kuehs.

Take care one and all. Bye for now.
